Some small activity in BIHL and Choppies the only names worth mentioning on a quiet day in Gaborone.
A decent day to close out the week in Nairobi as there was some broad based activity for a change. Safcom ($2.2m) as per usual led the way, but there was also some action in KenolKobil ($1.8m) and EQBNK ($1.2m) while the rest of the market heavyweights were very quiet.
An extremely active day to end the week in Port Louis, but this should however be taken with a pinch of salt as three large off market crosses in Mara Delta accounted for 92% of total value traded while there was some decent activity in MCBG as well as 113k shares changed hands in the name.
Another rather dull day in Lagos with some action in DangCem ($3.1m) the only name breaking the $1m turnover mark. Banking stocks closed -1.69% lower with losses in Access (-2.62%) and GTB (-2.46%) being the major drags. Consumers gained +2.22% thanks to NB (+1.44%).
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Another dull affair in Harare with some activity in Padenga, Delta and Innscor the only names worth mentioning.
