A solid day in Gaborone today with action across the board. The most actively traded names were BBCB ($340), BIHL ($290), NAP ($210) and Letshego ($128).
An average day on the bourse today with foreign participation accounting for 65% of net buying and 45.8% of sales. KCB (+0.61%, KES41.00) and Equity (+1.24%, KES40.75) accounting with a combined total of 63% of total market turnover. EABL (-1.25%, KES237.00) and Safcom (+0.99%, KES25.50) the other counters with some decent volume the rest of the market was extremely quiet
An average day to end the week in Port Louis as the Semdex and the Sem-10 closed +0.18% and +0.05% higher respectively. The banking stocks drove the market as MCBG closed +0.5% at Rs276.50 with 70K shares being foreign sales. SBMH reached an intra-day high of Rs7.62 to close unch at Rs7.60 with 1.19m shares exchanging hands.
Not a bad way to end the week in Lagos as the financial sector declined 0.01% and the consumers appreciated 0.62%. Top traders on the day belonged to NB (+0.47%, N138.80) with a few massive crossed at market open, Zenith (+0.33%, N24.12), Sovrenin (unch, N0.50), Guaranty (-0.23%, N43.00) and Nestle (+0.08%, N1,251.03) closing with some decent volumes going through in the names.

The market crashed for the second session in Harare today as Zimbabwe continues to await news on Mugabe's fate. Losses were recorded in Econet (-20%), Delta (-20%), OML (-20%), Afdis (-18%) , Seedco (-15%).
