Another decent day in Gaborone thanks to Sefalana as 1.1m shares traded in the name while there was also a small bit of activity in Letshego (686k).
Another decent day from an activity point of view as foreigners dominated proceedings and accounted for 73.9% of turnover. EABL was the most active name on the day as the brewer fell -0.3% on 472k shares on foreign selling. Safcom closed the day +0.9% higher on foreign demand as 6.9m shares traded in the telco. The two major banking stocks were mixed as EQBNK gained +0.6% while KNCB fell -0.6%.
Some improved action in Port Louis thanks to some crosses in MCBG (-50bps, Rs208.00).
It was a better day in terms of activity thanks to some action in Zenith ($3m), GTB ($1.7m), FBNH ($1.3m) and Presco ($1.3m). There seems to be a bit of interest returning to the market in Nigeria. Lets hope that it can last and continue to increase. Banking stocks were on fire today with the sector gaining +4.62% thanks to GTB (+7.32%) and Zenith (+4.33%). Consumers (-0.82%) were weaker with Guinness (-3.94%) and NB (-1.57%) dragging the sector lower.

A pleasing day in Zimbabwe thanks to Delta (75c). Delta was the main driver behind both the volumes and the index movement.
